MATT SERVITTO (Louie Purdaro) is currently playing the recurring role of Agent Harris on HBO's Emmy and Peabody award-winning series THE SOPRANOS. He won a Screen Actors Guild Award (Best Dramatic Ensemble) for his work on the show in 2000. This fall, Servitto will also appear in Dick Wolfe's new television show CRIMINAL INTENT. Other TV roles include guest leads on LAW & ORDER, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, and THIRD WATCH. His most recent film role was in Raymond DeFelitta's TWO FAMILY HOUSE, a selection of the 2000 Sundance Film Festival American Spectrum. He also played a journalist in Ed Zwick's THE SIEGE. Servitto started his career in regional and Off-Broadway theater. He has worked extensively with playwright and Academy-award winning (MOONSTRUCK) screenwriter John Patrick Shanley on his two recent plays PSYCHOPATHIA SEXUALIS and CELLINI. He also appeared in John Guare's recent revival of the LYDIE BREEZE CYCLE. Matt is a graduate of Julliard School of Performing Arts, where he won a Princess Grace Foundation Award for Excellence in Theater in 1988.
